Group classes last 3 or more weeks. You may start the program on any of our starting dates.
The main difference between the 3 and 4 week program is the number of credits you will earn.
3 weeks - 4 credit hours.
4 weeks - 6 credit hours.
The duration of our Spanish courses is 3 weeks; which is the ideal time to complete one of our eight levels. Our courses are intensive 6-hours a day. Four hours are in a class and the two others are spent with a conversation tutor in real-life experiences around the city.
- Morning Classes are from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
(maximum 6 students per instructor)
- Afternoon Conversation Classes are from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
(one student/one instructor)
In the morning you will cover 3 different components of the language. You will learn the Structure of the Language, Spanish Vocabulary and Practice, Pronunciation, Reading Comprehension, Writing, and more.
Afternoon Conversation Class:
In the afternoon you will have one-on-one hands on practice using the grammar and vocabulary you are learning in the program as you practice with a Conversation Guide. The Conversation Guide is a Native Speaker who will escort you to places of interest and correct your Spanish. You will be given a list of all the places of interest of Merida. Places within walking distance.
The cost of our 3-week program is only USD $1,650 and includes:
- Registration and books.
- 3 weeks of group instruction ( see start dates ).
- 30 hours a week of instruction ( 6 hours a day ).
- Pick up and drop off at the Merida airport
(Cancun International airport extra cost).
- Orientation of Merida, customs and culture.
